How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your VioFamily account and associated data, email us at support@vio.family.
- Use the email address linked to your VioFamily account when possible.
- Use the subject line: VioFamily data deletion request.
- Include the account email address and any details that help us identify the account.
- If you are a parent or guardian requesting deletion of child-profile data, tell us which family account the request relates to.
Data That May Be Deleted
Eligible deletion requests may include:
- account profile information, including email address and account identifiers;
- kid profiles created by the parent or guardian;
- parent-approved video lists, channels, playlists, categories, and whitelist settings;
- watch history, video progress, and app activity associated with the family account;
- stored device records, push notification tokens, and related app records where applicable.
Data We May Keep
We may retain limited information where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud prevention, support, accounting, subscription, or store compliance reasons. For example, Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment-related providers may retain purchase records according to their own legal obligations and policies.
Timing
We will review deletion requests and process eligible requests within a reasonable time after we verify the account. We may contact you if we need more information to verify or complete the request.
Partial Deletion Requests
You may also request deletion of some data without deleting the full account, such as child-profile data, watch history, or approved content lists. Email support@vio.family with the details of the data you want removed.
